Tired of pumping expensive gasoline into your car? Well one Japanese company reveals an eco-friendly car that runs on water, using the company's generating system, which converts water into electrical power - possibly the world's first. . . . A Japanese company called Genepax, dedicated to finding ways to turn water into power, has unveiled what it calls the first practical car to run solely on water. The firm claims putting just one litre of water is enough to keep its automobile going for 60 minutes at a respectable speed of 80 kph. And the water can be from the tap, falling rain or even from rivers. The car will continue to run as long as you have a bottle of water to top up from time to time, said Genepax CEO Kiyoshi Hirasawa after demonstrating the test vehicle in Osaka, so there will be no petrol stations on the roads of the future
